Toufik Ftaita

Anthropologist specializing in the anthropology of water and irrigation. He is associate professor at the University of Côte d’Azur - Nice - France. His research focuses on water heritage: the traditional social, technical and agronomic knowledge of water and customary rights. Toufik FTAÏTA interacts the anthropological and ecological facts of water and the technical and social management of natural resources in a perspective of sustainable development. His work concerns the Arab and Muslim word, Africa and Europe.
