Laura Dierksmeier is a postdoctoral researcher in the German Research Foundation Collaborative Research Center (SFB 1070) “Resource Cultures” at the University of Tübingen in Germany. She co-leads an interdisciplinary academic network on island studies with participants from thirteen countries, where water heritage is a major topic of research.
