The Mexican painter Tomás Pineda presents his work "The Last Guardians of the Paradise" at the Palau Robert, on November 22, 2018, within the event "Cultural Heritage, Biodiversity and Resilience" organized by the UNESCO Chair of Sustainability of the UPC.
In his pictorial proposal we find landscapes that as a child he could appreciate, animals that he knew from his childhood and that remind him of his roots. The learning acquired in the various classes, residences, workshops and courses have earned him the mastery of various techniques, however, his inspiration also comes from the fascination with which he lives day to day, from letters, books and poems, that they have given the artist that gift of expressing the most sincere feelings from their works.
Tomás has exhibited his work throughout the Mexican Republic, in New York, Costa Rica, Colombia, London, Italy and California in which the admiration for the mastery has rewarded the effort of creating without destroying.
The painter Tomàs Pineda has ceded one of his works so that it can be reproduced by the UNESCO Chair on Sustainability at the UPC.
